Muzaffarabad : The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has decided to hold re-polling at nine polling stations of LA-15 Bagh-II and 14 polling stations of LA-16 Bagh-III.

According to the Election Commission spokesperson, the decision to conduct re-polling was taken in light of reports submitted by the respective Returning Officers.

Re-polling at the 23 polling stations of LA-15 and LA-16 will be held on August 15, 2026, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, the spokesperson said.

The Returning Officer for LA-15 Bagh-II received results from 204 out of a total of 213 polling stations, while the Returning Officer for LA-16 Bagh-III received results from 172 out of 186 polling stations, according to the Election Commission spokesperson.

Re-polling will be held at polling stations No. 114, 135, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148 and 186 of LA-15 Bagh-II.

Similarly, re-polling will be conducted at polling stations No. 28, 29, 40, 49, 50, 51, 77, 91, 109, 110, 111, 112, 143 and 149 of LA-16 Bagh-III.
