Kashmir Solidarity Day reaffirms unwavering support for Kashmir cause: PM AJK
Muzaffarabad:Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has said that Kashmir Solidarity Day serves as a powerful reminder and a reaffirmation of the unwavering commitment on the part of people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan to Kashmiris’ just cause.?Addressing Kashmir Solidarity Day rally held under the aegis of All parties Hurriyat conference and Kashmir Liberation Cell, the prime minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said that the observance of the day at national level also highlights the Pakistan’s resolve to support their Kashmiri brethren in pursuit of their long cherished ideals and goals.?
Expressing gratitude to the people and government of Pakistan, he underscored Islamabad’s consistent moral, political and diplomatic support in highlighting the Kashmiri stance on self-determination globally and representing their aspirations internationally.?He expressed the hope that the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom will soon reach a logical conclusion.?The day, he said was not far away when the people of occupied Kashmir will be able to breathe freely in an atmosphere of freedom and liberty.? The rally was attended by a large number of people including leaders of political, social and religious organizations of Azad Kashmir, businessmen, lawyers and members of civil society.?The event was also addressed by Deputy Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch, veteran cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi, senior leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference including Ghulam Muhammad Safi and Secretary General Parvez Shah, AJK Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sheikh Aqeel-ur-Rehman, senior Hurriyat leader Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, spokesperson of the Prime Minister of AJK Shaukat Javed Mir, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Shameem Shawl, Zahid Ashraf, Dr. Muhammad Sajjad Khan, and others.
