PM AJK directs swift issuance of Health Cards, Bank scheduling
Muzaffarabad : A high-level meeting, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, deliberated on key matters relating to issuance of health cards and securing a scheduled bank status for the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (BAJK). Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Rathore emphasized on timely accomplishment of ongoing public interest projects in the state.
Describing the health card as a flagship welfare
project, he stressed on the need to instant finalization of the
program so that relief to ordinary citizens could be provided without
any further delay.He directed the government officials to ensure that
measures taken by the government are clearly visible to the
people.Referring to the attainment of scheduled status for the BAJK,
he directed the authorities concerned to accelerate the scheduling
process of the Bank.
The PPP government, he said, believes in service adding that the present government will provide all possible relief to the people with dedication and hard work.The meeting was attended by government ministers Chaudhry Qasim Majeed, Sardar Zia Al-Qamar, Secretary Finance Islam Zeb, Principal Secretary Zafar Mahmood Khan, Secretary Information Sardar Adnan Khurshid, Secretary Forests Ansar Yaqub Khan, Director IT Idrees Abbasi.During the meeting, Secretary Finance Azad Kashmir Islam Zeb gave a detailed briefing to Prime Minister about the mechanism for issuing health cards, phased completion of the process of scheduling the BAJK.The Finance Secretary also informed the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir about the steps taken by the government.
