President Najeeb Stresses Public Service, Institutional Cooperation
ISLAMABAD: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr Muhammad Najeeb Khan has emphasised the importance of mutual cooperation among state institutions and continued efforts to address matters concerning the people of Azad Kashmir.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Member AJK Council and former Speaker of the AJK Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, who called on the President at his office on Wednesday.
Chaudhry Latif Akbar congratulated Dr Muhammad Najeeb Khan on assuming the office of President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and conveyed his best wishes for his tenure.
During the meeting, the President and the former Speaker exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed issues relating to the development and public welfare of Azad Kashmir.
Dr Muhammad Najeeb Khan said that collective efforts and institutional coordination were essential for addressing public issues and promoting the interests of the state. He stressed the need for all stakeholders to work together in the larger interest of the people and contribute towards strengthening democratic and constitutional institutions.
The President said that effective coordination among state institutions could help improve governance and ensure better delivery of services to the people. He also emphasised the importance of giving due attention to public concerns and pursuing measures aimed at socio-economic development across Azad Kashmir.
Chaudhry Latif Akbar also expressed his good wishes for the President and assured him of his cooperation in matters concerning the state and its people.
The meeting also covered other matters of mutual interest and issues relating to the prevailing situation in Azad Kashmir.
