Blast near police lines in Kohat leaves several people injured

KOHAT :Several people were injured in an explosion near the police lines in Kohat, according to police.

Police said the injured were being shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medical treatment.

The hospital administration said an emergency had been declared at the DHQ Hospital following the blast.

Police further said the Kohat-Hangu Road had been closed to all traffic, while additional police personnel had reached the area near the police lines.
