No lasting peace, development in region without Kashmir solution: AJK PM
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq expressed these views while talking to a delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, which met him in Muzaffarabad today.
He said Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s categorical stance on the Kashmir dispute is highly commendable, adding that India should stop serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and allow international observers to visit the occupied territory.
He strongly condemned Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and paid tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir in beautiful words. He said the Kashmir conflict has once again been highlighted at the global level and voices have started to be raised regarding settlement of the dispute.
The AJK Prime Minister expressed serious concern over the ongoing state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, nefarious attempts to erase the identity of Kashmiri Muslims, settlement of non-state residents, blowing up the houses of freedom-loving Kashmiri people with explosives, illegal confiscation of properties and unjustified arrests of thousands of Kashmiri youth under the guise of the Pahalgam incident.
He called upon the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and freedom-loving nations around the world to put pressure on India to settle the Kashmir dispute.
The delegation included Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, General Secretary Advocate Pervez Shah, Abdul Hameed Lone, Raja Khadim Hussain, Mushtaq-ul-Islam and Abdul Majeed Mir
