Kashmiris continue their struggle with determination despite Indian oppression: Amir JI AJK
Islamabad: Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, Dr. Mushtaq Khan, has stated that the Kashmiri people have been fighting against India’s illegal occupation for over seven decades and are in no way ready to abandon their struggle.
Dr. Mushtaq Khan made these remarks while addressing an iftar party organized by Jamaat-e-Islami AJK in honor of Kashmiri journalists. He said that just as Hamas in Gaza has proven its strength against Zionist imperialism despite being under-equipped, the Kashmiri people are actively engaged in their struggle against Brahmanical imperialism.
He added that India has stationed one million force personnel in occupied Jammu and Kashmir with the nefarious aim of suppressing the Kashmiri struggle. However, the brave Kashmiris continue their resistance movement with determination and courage, despite the immense pressure from the occupying forces.
Dr. Mushtaq further stated that the Modi government illegally revoked the special status of IIOJK on August 5, 2019, and is now working with the sinister agenda of converting the Muslim majority in the region into a minority. He emphasized that India’s actions are unacceptable and that the Indian government cannot mislead the international community with its false and unrealistic narrative on Kashmir.
