Pakistan is the beacon of hope for Kashmiris, Muslim Ummah: Masarrat Aalam

Hurriyat leaders, orgs extend warm congratulations to Pakistan on Pakistan Day
Srinagar: On the eve of Pakistan Day, the illegally detained Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Masarrat Aalam Butt, along with other Hurriyat leaders and organizations, have extended their warm congratulations to the people and government of Pakistan, praying for the nation’s continued progress, stability, and prosperity.
In a message from notorious Tihar Jail in New Delhi, Masarrat Aalam Butt expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan, describing the country as a beacon of hope for oppressed Kashmiris and the entire Muslim Ummah. He emphasized that Pakistan, founded on a noble ideology, serves as a great blessing for Muslims worldwide. He further stated that the Kashmiri people are making daily sacrifices to preserve this ideology, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to the cause. Masarat Alam made it clear that no power can weaken the strong cultural, religious, and civilizational bond shared between Kashmiris and Pakistan. He reiterated that Kashmiris are engaged in the struggle for the completion of Pakistan, and their dream of joining the blessed nation will one day come true.
APHC leaders and organizations, including Molvi Bashir Irfani, Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori, Advocate Arshad Iqbal, Mohammad Yusuf Naqash, Zamurda Habib, Fareeda Behanji, Yasmeen Raja, Imtiaz Reshi, Saleem Zargar, Ghulam Nabi War, Abdul Samad Inqlabi, Khwaja Firdous, Muhammad Aqib, Mohammad Haseeb Wani, Maulana Musab Nadvi, Fayaz Hussain Jafari and Syed Sibte Shabir Qummi, in their statements issued from Srinagar, commemorated the importance of the Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23, 1940. They hailed the resolution as one of the most significant milestones in South Asian history.
The leaders highlighted how the March 23 resolution invigorated Muslims across the region, uniting them under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and the All India Muslim League in their fight for freedom. They pointed out that the current plight of minorities, particularly Muslims, in India, has proven the legitimacy of the demand for a separate homeland for Muslims in the region. The leaders expressed profound gratitude for Pakistan’s steadfast political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmiri people’s rightful struggle for self-determination.
They emphasized that Kashmiris and Pakistanis share an unbreakable religious and cultural bond, and no force can separate them. They affirmed that the Kashmiris’ struggle is a continuation of the Pakistan Movement, drawing inspiration from the 1940 Pakistan Resolution. They added that a strong and stable Pakistan remains the key to Jammu and Kashmir’s liberation from Indian occupation. The leaders expressed confidence that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will ultimately result in the territory’s freedom and its integration with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, leaders from the APHC-AJK chapter, including Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Mahmood Ahmad Sagar, Syed Yusuf Naseem, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Mir Tahir Masood, Shamim Shawl, Sheikh Mateen, Zahid Safi, Sheikh Mohammad Yaqub, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Syed Mushtaq Gilani, Zahid Ashraf, Syed Gulshan Ahmad, Imtiaz Wani, Syed Ejaz Rehmani, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Manzoor Ahmad, Muhamad Sultan Butt and Mohammad Ashraf Dar, Khalid Shabir also conveyed their congratulations to the people, government, and armed forces of Pakistan. They emphasized that Pakistan is the heart of Kashmiri hopes and aspirations. The leaders acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to highlight the Kashmir dispute on global platforms and expressed belief that the Kashmiris’ struggle will ultimately succeed, with the dream of joining Pakistan being realized.
