Muzaffarabad: Speakers at a rally called the Jammu massacre a conspiracy by Indian authorities aimed to change the demographics of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The rally was organized in Muzaffarabad to honour the martyrs of the November 1947 Jammu massacre.

Speakers at the rally recalled the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Muslims by Dogra forces and Hindu extremists in Jammu in November 1947.

They emphasized that organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena, and Dogra soldiers forced Muslims to flee, while the orchestrated genocide with the support of Indian authorities.

The speakers vowed that the Kashmiri people would continue resisting Indian oppression until they achieve freedom and that the sacrifices of Jammu’s martyrs would never be forgotten.

The rally was addressed by Secretary Information APHC AJK Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Mushtaq ul-Islam, and Bilal Ahmed Farooqi, among others.

Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement and Muhajireen Itihad Forum organized a Martyr’s Conference in Mirpur.

Chairman Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Qazi Imran presided the event while APHC AJK General Secretary Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion.

The speakers condemned the massacre of Muslims in Jammu and emphasized that the massacre was a well-planned conspiracy, with the only “crime” of the Muslims being their desire to join Pakistan.

The speakers paid tribute to the martyrs’ immense sacrifices, asserting that these sacrifices would never go in vain and that IIOJK would one day be freed from India’s illegal occupation.

The seminar also featured speeches by Raja Shaheen, Zahid Safi, Majeed Mir, Khwaja Ayaz, Zaheer Jarral, Bashir Ahmad Shagu, Ejaz Mir, Sardar Kamran, Hafiz Talib, Advocate Ashfaq Raja, Sarfraz, Haji Arif, Maulana Abdul Latif, and Maulana Atiqur Rehman.
