Justice Ijazul steps down after Mazahir Naqvi’s resignation
ISLAMABAD – Another senior judge of Supreme Court Justice Ijazul Ahsan resigned a day after embattled judge Mazahir Akbar Ali Naqvi stepped down from the post.
The puinse judge Justice Ejazul Ahsan sent his resignation to President Dr Arif Alvi who reportedly accepted the resignation of famous jurist.
Justice Ijaz UI Ahsan was expected to be Pakistan’s next chief justice of Pakistan, but his sudden departure raised several questions.
