Indian police file charge-sheet against 8 Kashmiris
Indian police have filed a charge-sheet against eight Kashmiris in a court of India’s dreaded Na-tional Investigation Agency in Doda district of Jammu region in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in false cases registered against them.
The police produced the charge-sheet in the NIA court against these Kashmiri freedom activists in the fake cases registered against them in different police stations of Doda district under draconian law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for their affiliation with the Kashmir freedom movement. They include Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Muhammad Amin, Zakir Hussain, Abdul Hai, Irshad Ahmed Itoo, Atta Muhammad, Muhammad Shafi and Majid Hussain.
It is to mention here that all these Kashmiris are now living in Pakistan. The Indian atrocities had forced them to migrate to Pakistan in 1990s.
Meanwhile, a court in occupied Kashmir con-victed a freedom activist Shahid Fayaz Tarray, a resident of Bijbehara area of Islamabad district, and imposed a fine upto one lac rupees in a false case registered against him under UAPA. New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) in its ongoing crackdown against the Hurriyat activists has arrested two more innocent civilians in Doda district of Jammu region in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The SIA sleuths accompanied by the Indian police and paramilitary personnel arrested the civilians identified as Firdous Ahmed Wani and Khurshid Ahmed Malik in false cases registered against them several years ago. The arrested persons have been running their businesses for the last over thirty years. The SIA had arrested eight civilians including a Government official in similar old fake cases on Thursday.
The action is aimed at punishing these persons for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement and to create a sense of fear among other people.
