District Administration Faisalabad Observes Kashmir Exploitation Day with Rally, Seminar

Faisalabad: On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day was observed. Solidarity rally and Seminar were held in District Faisalabad in support of Kashmiris, reaffirming the commitment to continue standing with them.The rally, organized under the District Administration which started from the Municipal Corporation Office and concluded at Chenab Club Chowk.Commissioner Faisalabad Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh led the protest rally. Regional Police Officer (RPO)  Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Numan Siddique, CPO Tanveer Hussain, Parlimentarians Bilal Badar Chaudhry, Mian Tahir Jameel, Khan Bahadar Dogar, Qudsia Batool, Uzma Jabeen Raja, PML-N leaders Haji Akram Ansari, Sheikh Ijaz Ahmad, Faqir Hussain Dogar, Rana Umar Asrar and others  along with officers, religious scholars, students and members of civil society participated in large numbers.

Participants were carrying flags of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Earlier, the seminar at the Municipal Corporation began with the National Anthems of Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir followed by one minute of silence. Students presented milli nagmas.In his address, Commissioner Faisalabad began with the couplet:

_”Khoon-e-dil, khoon-e-jigar, khoon-e-wafa, khoon-e-nazar_

_Surkhiyan dekhi hain tune mere afsanay ki”  and said This is the story of Kashmir.

Conveying a message from the 1.5 crore people of Faisalabad Division to the people of Kashmir, he said,

_”Khoon-e-jigar se nikharenge rukh-e-barg-e-gulab_

_Hum ne gulshan ke tahaffuz ki qasam khai hai.”_

Other speakers said that on this day India illegally changed the status of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and violated human rights.They stated that Modi has unleashed a reign of brutality in Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. The insensitivity of the international community to the inhumane atrocities against Kashmiris is an indictment against them.They added that despite the most difficult circumstances, the resolve and spirit of Kashmiris remains firm. We salute the timeless struggle of the Kashmiri people.

Speakers further said that India will have to answer for every atrocity. The blood of innocent Kashmiri martyrs will not go in vain and the dawn of Kashmir’s freedom will surely rise.Faisalabad:On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day was observed.
