Muzaffarabad : Prime Minister of Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, while addressing the conclusion of a successful All Parties Conference held at the Prime Minister House, stated that the Joint Action Committee was invited as a stakeholder to participate in the APC.

He said that he personally visited the residence of a core member of the Action Committee to extend the invitation for dialogue. He added that matters were resolved in line with the agreed understanding with the Action Committee, and the government had requested one week’s time, but the committee even refused to grant five to seven days.

The Prime Minister remarked that it appears the Action Committee would prefer to shut down the state even if the issue of refugee seats were resolved.

Responding to a question, he clarified that no decision has been made to stop the Action Committee through force, stressing that the government wants to resolve all issues through dialogue and consultation.
